Angela and Jason plan are planning a beach wedding in October. For their engagement session they wanted to keep with a coastal theme, but “something a little different than the beach.” We spent an hour or so shooting around the Tideland Trail at Cedar Point NC.

Nikki – New Bern Urban Portrait Shoot!
I did a shoot with Nikki a while back in New Bern. We shot around Union Point Park and the historic downtown area.
I had the pleasure of attending Zack Arias’ “One Light Workshop” in the DC/VA area this week. If you’re a photographer and you want to learn about how to achieve dramatic, editorial style lighting while maintaining portablity, do consider enrolling in one of these if you get the chance. It was an excellent chance to rebuild my knowledge foundation about lighting, get into the head of a very successful photographer to improve my own creative processes, and to pick-up some new tricks and ideas.
