Hi I’m Bob Decker, an award-winning professional photographer making my home along North Carolina’s Crystal Coast. 
While earning part of my living via wedding and portrait photography, creating nature and wildlife photos is my passion. My images and articles have appeared in a variety of local, regional and national publications. A member of the Carolinas Nature Photography Association, I would encourage anyone living in or near the Carolinas with an interest in nature photography to join. I’m also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

I thought it might be helpful to others to develop an online resource with descriptions of area trails and recreational areas as well as to share my adventures, discoveries, thoughts and reports of my wildlife and bird sightings. As a professional photographer I’ll also use this site to share some of my nature, wildlife and landscape imagery. I’ll even write a bit about what went into making some of the images or some information about the subjects in them.
Of course the images you see here are available to purchase as fine art prints or for use as stock images. There is a nice selection of images in my portfolio area that includes a shopping cart for purchasing prints… even matted and framed if you’d like.
