My buddy Joe played drums with Backstreet Romeo at Chef 105 on the Morehead City waterfront a couple of weeks ago. I dropped in to take a few photos. It’s been a while since I covered a live music event but, as always, it was a good time. While the band usually includes a bass player, his wife was having a baby that evening so the performed as a trio [ maybe he needs to get his priorities straight? 😉 ]. Here’s a few shots.

This may be a departure from wedding photography, but it looks great. The B&W ones have a very nice film sort of quality/grain to them. They ought to hire you to do a CD cover!
Nice work, you did a great job of capturing the energy while they are playing, nice lighting in each of them also.
Beautiful photos, especially the black-white pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the grainy quality of the black and white photos. You really captured an interesting dynamic as far as the musicians go. I can’t believe he wasn’t with his wife for her labor! My wife would kill me.
Oh my word. I didn’t know that Joe actually played drums! Go figure!
