I received a phone call from Tracey looking to arrange a portrait session for her three boys, Alan, Ben and Colby. They had a location for the shoot picked out, a farm belonging to a friend of the family. We had a great time capturing the three boys alone and together. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.
Leslie and Aaron were married July 24 at the First United Methodist Church in Morehead City, North Carolina. The event was planned by Just Call Jodie planning and coordinating. Following the wedding bride, groom and guests met headed to the Dunes Club, Atlantic Beach, NC for the reception. DJ John Drake provided the entertainment for the event. Be sure to check-out the slideshow of their wedding by clicking here or on the image below.
Jordan and Josh wanted a simple beach portrait session. We met up at Fort Macon State Park, Atlantic Beach, NC on a Sunday afternoon for a nice, informal shoot.
Eirc and Kimberly exchange vows June 12, 2010 on the beach in front of the Sheraton Atlantic Beach Resort Hotel, Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Their reception was held on the property inside of Sand Castles. A great time was had by all. Be sure to check out a sampling of their images as a slideshow by clicking here or click on the photo below.
Jordan & Devin exchanged wedding vows May 15, 2010 at the Duncan House on Beaufort North Carolina’s waterfront. The historic property, combined with views of Taylor’s Creek, and Gallant Channel provides a great location for a wedding. I shot Kimberly’s bridals a couple of months ago but couldn’t post them to insure that her fiance’ Eric wouldn’t see her dress before their wedding day. Now that the wedding has come and gone I can now share a few images from the session.
Jordan & Devin will be getting married later this year. We wanted to do a photo session in advance to help them get comfortable in front of the camera. They felt like the beach would be a fun location and I most definately agreed. A special thanks to Renee at Visions Events & Beyond for allowing us access to their terrace even though the wedding is being held at another venue.
Amy and Jason exchanged vows on the beach in front of the Sheraton Atlantic Beach Ocean Front Resort Hotel, Sunday March 07, 2010. Following the wedding a reception for family and friends was held at the North Carolina State Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. The event was coordinated by Rachael Munro, Bridal-By-The-Sea. The Courthouse Caffe, Jacksonville, NC provided catering. Videography and Music were courtesy of DJ Professionals and Video of Morehead City. A great time was had by all. I particiapted in the 2010 Crystal Coast Bridal Salon in January. I had the pleasure of accompanying participating couples on the tour of beach wedding venues, as well as manning a both at the show and attending the after party. The salon was based at the Shearton Atlantic Beach hotel with the after party held at the North Carolina State Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. You can learn more about the salon by visiting the Crystal Coast Bride website. Click here to view a slideshow of images from the event.
I had the opportunity to visit the Wat Carolina Buddhajakra Vanaram, Boliva, NC (between Wilmington & Southport, North Carolina). It was an interesting opportunity for some photography and not something one would normally expect in North Carolina. I’d like to visit again for additional photography in conjunction with one of their holidays/celebrations.
