A high school senior, Dani will graduate this spring. I’ve had the pleasure of making her portraits on a couple of occassions in the past but this is the first time taking her photo in the studio.

I had a chance to do a bridal portrait session with Terri last Wednesday afternoon. Overcast skies made made for dramatic backdrops on the beach and made light control especially easy. Such a pretty girl I’m looking forward to her wedding next month! Here’s a few of my favorites:

I had a little time to kill following a consultation with one of next year’s wedding couples. So I set-up a lighting scheme in front of my white seamless background, set my camera on self-timer mode and hammed it up in front of the camera a bit.

August has been a crazy busy month. Multiple weddings, the decision to open the new brick & mortar studio location in Newport (with the associated remodeling, cleaning, setting-up), print orders, album orders and beach portrait sessions! Mixed in with all that work I suddenly realized I’d failed to post any of those beach sessions. So, in an effort to play catch-up, here’s a slideshow review of several beach portrait sessions.
