Krista and Beau held their wedding at Summer Winds, Salter Path, North Carolina. Not quite the beach wedding they’d planned thanks to a rainy day, but a wonderful celebration of their love just the same. A tent, benches and other necessities for the reception were provided by Bogue Banks Beach Gear. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Ivan Koloff, “The Russian Bear.” Flowers were provided by Sandy’s Flower Shoppe of Morehead City, NC. DJ John Drake provided music and entertainment for the ceremony and reception. The caterer for the event was Floyd’s 1921 Resturant, also of Morehead City, North Carolina. Everything was brought coordinated and executed flawlessly by Rachel Munro of Bridal by the Sea, Newport, NC. Becuase of the weather Beau and Krista met with me later in the week for a sunset portrait session on the beach. Best of luck Mr. and Mrs. Braxton. It was a joy to be part of your day.
Rachel Munro recently moved her bridal consultation business, Bridal by the Sea, to Newport. The new location is at 261 Howard Blvd #B. I had the pleasure of working a wedding with Rachel last weekend (still editing… that post is coming soon) and have had the pleasure of knowing her as a fellow wedding vendor for quite a while. They say rain on a wedding day is lucky. Without question Teri & Jimmy are exactly that. Even the rain couldn’t dampen their love for each other. The beautiful cake was from Divine Desserts Cape Carteret, NC. Twilight Limousene of New Bern, North Carolina provided transportation for the couple following the event. It was a great pleasure to join Amy Wastler and Troy McEachron for their wedding, October 04, 2008. Amy & Troy traveled from the Raleigh/Durham area for the event at the “Sea Whisper” beach house in the Spinnakers Reach development, Emerald Isle, North Carolina. The couple was blessed with wonderful weather for their beach wedding. October in North Carolina is almost always great for a beach wedding.
